Peter Manfield I was trained at Kneller Hall, Royal Military School of Music, to play the tuba, string bass and bass guitar. Upon Leaving Kneller hall, I joined the lifeguards band (the senior regiment in the British Army) where I was trained to ride a horse and play tuba at the same time!! I have played for royalty, including the queen, on many occasions from afternoon tea to Trooping the Colour (queens birthday parade) and most other state occasions. I transferred to the Sandhurst Band and served there for four years before moving to Devon. I play with several orchestras and bands including rock and trad. I also play in theatres for shows and panto. I serve in the territorial Band of the Devon and Dorset Regiment. I love the Variety of music, new numbers, the musical challenge and the striving for perfection that Blurred Vision offers. Since joining the band, all the members have become great friends. Pete
